Country girl Narda leads a secret double life as the crime fighting Darna. While trying to find her grandmother and little brother, Ding. Narda is viciously struck in the head and the stone that furnishes her power is stolen. The culprit is Valentine Adan, a televangelist who claims only she can protect the city from an advancing volcanic mudflow. Valentine's dark intentions become apparent and Narda discovers the woman is the daughter_of Valentina, her arch enemy.
