Eighteen-year-old Jessy is chosen to appear in a perfume commercial. During the shoot she meets and falls obsessively in love with Gerard. Jessy's friends try to protect her from what they see as an inevitably short-lived affair. When the two do separate they are both miserable. They find themselves having to confront each other when they are ordered back for a re-shoot of the commercial.
